Kia reveals pricing details for new EV9

Kia has finally revealed the pricing and specification lineup for the brand new EV9 electric SUV.

The brand's new three-row electric SUV 'Air' starts at £64,995. This entry level rear-wheel drive version also has a highly impressive 336 miles of range.

The two higher trims are the EV9 GT-Line, which is from £72,495, and the top of the range GT-Line S, from £75,995.

All three trim levels come with a three-row, seven-seat layout as standard. They also come with a 99.8kWh long range battery with heat pump, and the ability to travel over 300 miles from a single charge.

Kia's 800V ultra-fast charging technology means all levels of the EV9 can be charged from 10-80% in as little as 24 minutes, when connected to a 350kW high-powered charger.

Even with just 15 minutes' worth of rapid charge, the EV9 can achieve an electric driving range of 148 miles!

Six-seat EV9

Another groundbreaking design feature for the Kia EV9 GT-Line S is that it's also exclusively available as a six-seat model, featuring innovative second-row swivel seats.

This version of the GT-Line S replaces the three-seat middle row bench with two individual 'captain's chair' seats with adjustable arm rests.

These can move forwards and backwards, and can recline further than the regular seats, for greater flexibility and comfort on longer journeys.

They can also swivel outwards facing the doors, when the EV9 is stationary, and even fully 180-degrees so that you can sit face-to-face with those in the third row of seats for direct social interaction.
