What do We Know So Far?
Available in three trim level options, SE, Trophy, and Trophy Connect, and with an improved 72kWh lithium-ion battery providing a driving range of up to 273 miles*.
The crossover is now available with a 72kWh Long Range battery that offers a range of 273 miles per charge, compared with the 163 miles offered by the current car's 44.5kWh pack.
Charging status is now readily viewed on the four stage indicator LEDs inside the charging port. The combination Type 2 and CCS charger provides up to 7kW fast charging using the on-board AC charger, or up to 76kW DC rapid charging (depending on climatic conditions). This means the Long Range 72 kWh battery can be charged from 0-100% in 10½ hours on a standard 7kW charger, or as little as 42 minutes on a 100kW rapid charger.
That range brings the ZS EV more into line with its closest rivals, with a starting price of just £29,770 means it maintains its status as one of the cheapest electric SUVs on sale.

An even cheaper version, equipped with a 51kWh battery for a range of 199 miles, will arrive shortly, priced from €30,990 (£26,370). MG has yet to confirm when either will be available in the UK.
Every New MG ZS EV also comes with the new state-of-the-art MG iSMART connectivity system, which offers a connection via a smartphone app, through which various car, climate, security and charging functions can be controlled remotely.

The new front and rear bumpers come with improved aerodynamic performance. In addition, the new 17" alloy wheels come with 'propeller covers for improved efficiency.
